As the title says - something I definitely do not shoot enough of, is sport! I love photographing sport, the challenges it entails and how varied/exciting the games are!! I love the feeling of capturing that moment, perhaps the winning try or the pass that ended up leading to the winning goal!
Anyway, last night I went to BT Murrayfield stadium to photograph Edinburgh Rugby v Zebre (who're from Rome), in the Guinness Pro 12 league. Definitely a lens shortness issue as I tried to sort a 300mm f/2.8 but unfortunately it was unavailable! So, heading down with my 70-200 wasn't the easiest thing but, make do and all that!
So, here's a few of my favourite shots of the game - including a GV of a half empty Murrayfield. With Edinburgh winning 29-0 I was a happy guy (not so much with my shots) but ah well! Hopefully I'll do better next time!
Just to give some context - the last image shows Edinburgh scoring their last try of the match! Personally one of my favourite images from the game!
